Three Spanish tourists have died and a fourth is missing after a canyoning accident that occurred on Wednesday in eastern Switzerland, as announced by the Police of the canton of Saint-Galles. The accident took place in Vattis (Pfafers commune) in the Parlitobel gorges.

Early data indicates that the four men's tracks were lost during a violent storm. Three were found dead at night, and four are still missing, according to the same source. Weather conditions have disrupted search efforts carried out by a "large number of first responders" overnight. The operation has resumed early this Thursday morning, the cantonal police reported.
