It was on July 21 that the 18-year-old man was released during a guarded leave in Kungsbacka. Since then, there have been no traces of him.

- We naturally work with other regions and it may be that he is in Stockholm, considering that he is written there and there is also his interaction. Then he could also be in Denmark, but we do not know for sure, says Geir Hogstad.

Shortly after the 18-year-old man was released, several people suspected of involvement were arrested. The men are suspected of grossly promoting flight.

- Two people are in custody for this and the preliminary investigation continues, says chamber prosecutor Lena Lithner.

Bloody conflict

The prosecutor does not want to go further into what connection the men have to the 18-year-old. Two years ago, the man was convicted of a murder at a pizzeria in Rinkeby, which took place in January 2018. Since he was 16 years old at the time of the crime, he was sentenced to three years in closed youth care at the State Department Board, Sis.

Since 2015, two groups have had a bloody conflict in northwest Stockholm, they have been called Shottaz and the Death Patrol in the media. According to the police, the 18-year-old was part of the Death Patrol network and the victim had strong connections to Shottaz. Several shootings have taken place in the open street, about 20 have been injured and seven people have been killed in the gang conflict.

Shooting in Denmark

Last summer, June 25, two Swedish men were shot in a car at Sennepshaven in Herlev outside Copenhagen. One of the men had a leading role in the Shottaz network. The other man had a lower position in the same grouping. Five people were arrested shortly afterwards for involvement in the double murder. The murder trial started in Denmark on Monday. The man who was released in Kungsbacka in July has strong connections to the accused men in Denmark, according to sources to SVT Väst.

- We continue to chase him and as soon as we get word, then we look at it. Since we know that he has contacts abroad, we have called for him internationally, says Geir Hogstad.

Have you received any tips about where he may be?

- Beware of that question.
