It was in mid-July that the police rushed to Laholm where the suspected rape allegedly took place. The site was cordoned off and a technical investigation was carried out. The man was arrested the same day and then arrested.
The man and the woman must have known each other before and the man must have repeatedly been violent towards the woman. He is now being prosecuted at Halmstad District Court for two cases of assault, attempted assault and rape.
