The riding club has wanted help to limit the transparency and accessibility to the facility after the traumatic event when the 19-year-old riding school horse Bella was shot in a paddock while a riding camp was going on. The horse was seriously injured and had to be killed the same day.

"I'm disappointed"

But riding school principal Lotta Jonsson is disappointed after the meeting, which was held on Wednesday.

- So I am disappointed that neither the municipality nor the property owner can help us more. We try in every way to make the facility safe. Now we ask for help, as we feel that this is outside our limit, says Lotta Jonsson.

Viktor Månsson, unit manager at the culture and leisure office in Norrköping, who was present at the meeting, says that he experienced the meeting as good. He also says that the association needs to think about what effect a privacy protection can have.

To be treated urgently

- When they have come to a conclusion on how they can protect the business, they can apply for construction support and we will process it quickly, he says to SVT Nyheter Öst.

At the same time, he emphasizes that it is the association that is responsible for its own activities.

- So we support it as best we can, but we can not do any special constructions.

Lotta Jonsson says that she wished they had received help in developing a sensible solution.

- An expert would have been desirable, who could come up with ideas on how to protect the facility. It is difficult to find solutions, she says.
