“On August 13, in the daytime, in the Tobol River near the village of Yarkovo, the body of a child with signs of drowning was found,” the agency's website says.

On this fact, the investigators began a procedural check.

According to preliminary information, on August 11, two brothers of five and seven years old with other children walked on the water along the bank of the Tobol River near the village of Yarkovo. The youngest of the boys went deeper and began to drown, while the older brother tried to save him. As a result, both children disappeared under the water. 

It is clarified that rescuers continue to search for the second child.

Earlier it was reported that investigators and rescuers were looking for two missing boys in the Tyumen region for the second day.
