Signage is installed and, normally, habits are taken to block the way to the virus. Since August 5 in Toulouse, wearing a mask is mandatory on markets, flea markets and garage sales. This is also the case from noon to 3 am on the very busy banks of the Garonne: Quai and Place Saint-Pierre, de la Daurade, Quai Lucien-Lombard and on the promenade Henri-Martin.

This Thursday, the prefecture and the town hall jointly announce that the time for education is over. From this Friday, August 14, the fines of 135 euros will fall. “Anyone who does not respect the obligation to wear a mask in the defined places will be fined, warn the authorities. National police and municipal police officers are mobilized to monitor the correct application of the measure ”.

In addition, the town hall has set up four free screening "drives" where you can go without an appointment and without a prescription.

In its latest bulletin, the regional health agency Occitanie indicates that 115 positive cases of Covid-19 are recorded on average every day in Occitanie. In Haute-Garonne, 22 people are hospitalized, including 4 in intensive care.
