13 August 2020Today at noon the vote on Rousseau opens to ask the M5s militants if they are in favor of a rule that, in fact, eliminates the two-term ceiling for Virginia Raggi by subtracting from the bill the two and a half years made by the mayor as city councilor between 2013 and 2015. Friday the outcome of the vote which, barring surprises, will put the mayor in a position to start her electoral campaign from September, currently in the absence of challengers except Monica Lozzi, who will run with Italexit by Gianluigi Paragone.

A choice that is however causing rifts. On the one hand, the support of Beppe Grillo and the pentastellated national leaders, on the other the opposition in the Roman Movement to re-nomination. The hardest attack is that of Enrico Stefano, president of the Transport Commission, councilor since 2013. "Many of those who today were electrocuted on the Rays-Bis road until the day before yesterday were rowing against and asked for his head". And then the lunge on Marcello De Vito: "Enough with this myth of honesty while the president of the Capitoline Assembly is on trial for corruption." The 5 Star Lazio Regional Councilor Devid Porrello is also opposed to the Rays-bis.

While an endorsement arrives from the Capitoline councilor Carola Penna: "All Rousseau members will be called to express their opinion. From 12 noon to 12 noon on Friday 14 August, there will be a national vote on two questions, one of these will be on the modification of the zero mandate for municipal councilors. It will be a great opportunity for the city of Rome to carry on and continue the fight against the underworld that has gripped the capital for years. To do this it will be important to continue to support the person who most he put his face to everyone: Virginia Raggi ''.
