According to reports, a representative of the emergency department of the Russian capital said, “Anonymous sources say that three planes parked at Sheremetyevo Airport (Moscow) were planted with bombs, while all planes at Domodedovo Airport (Moscow) All were threatened by bombs.” The representative also pointed out that experts are currently investigating the bomb situation.

According to reports, since the end of 2019, many cities in Russia have been threatened by bombs. The affected places include courts, shopping centers, subway stations, airplanes, primary and secondary schools, and medical institutions. After investigation, it was confirmed that all bomb threats were false information, but they caused considerable economic losses.

The Russian Federal Security Service stated in February 2020 that "mail terrorists" had used five foreign e-mail systems to send bomb threat messages. Although Russia blocked these systems, it had not been able to completely stop the related threats.
