The Spanish newspaper "MARCA" revealed Real Madrid's new contracting policy, through leaks to the meeting that club manager Jose Angel Sanchez held with the team after leaving the Champions League final price.

The historic champion of the Champions League was eliminated from the competition after losing to Manchester City 2-1 in the home and away matches.

The newspaper, close to the Spanish champions, said that Sanchez had met with the players and informed them that the club was generally happy with their performance in the 2019-2020 season despite the disappointing end to Manchester City.

He explained to them that there are no new contracts this summer due to the club’s treasury being affected by the Corona pandemic, as the team’s renewal will be limited to the return of some loaned players, such as Martin Odegaard and Danny Ceballos, and goalkeeper Andre Lunin, noting that the club ended the loan of Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, because Financial position does not allow permanent inclusion.

Sanchez’s interview with the players confirms the previous statements of Real Madrid President Florentino Perez, in which he expressed his belief that "big deals" should wait because of the difficult situation the club and the world are currently going through.

Real Madrid players are currently spending their annual vacation, which lasts until the end of this month.
