• Casa Real. The Infanta Sofía appears in the Balearic Islands with a crutch after hitting one knee

Kings Felipe VI and Letizia , accompanied by their daughters ( Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía ) have visited this Tuesday the Naüm socio-educational center, located in one of the most disadvantaged neighborhoods of Palma de Mallorca: Son Roca. This center promotes the integration of children and young people in difficult circumstances.

During the visit, in which Sofía has reappeared with the crutch with which she recovers from her leg injury, the royal family has been accompanied by the Minister of Education, Isabel Celáa; the president of the Government, Francina Armengol ; the president of the Consell, Catalina Cladera; the president of the Parliament, Vicenç Thomàs; the Minister for Social Affairs, Fina Santiago; and the Councilor for Citizen Security, Joana Maria Adrover.

According to the local newspaper 'Noticias de Mallorca', during the visit a girl, Peinda, asked Leonor what she wanted to be when she grew up. "What he has to, not what he wants," replied Queen Letizia , "in reference to the condition of heir to her eldest daughter," according to the media.

Other children asked Felipe VI what his height was, while the monarch asked about the meanings of some of the students' names. One of them commented that Doña Letizia had told her that she was very pretty. "All of them agreed that both the Kings and their daughters were 'very nice'", details the Mallorcan newspaper. Some people noticed the color of the eyes of Leonor and Sofía: "They are very pretty."

Margalida Jordà, general director of Naüm, stressed the positive impact of this visit in a neighborhood "whose self-esteem is very low." For her part, Eva Planellas, technical director of the center, agreed on this point, pointing out that "a neighborhood that is highly stigmatized is visible and our goal is to make the positive part known. The Kings have valued the project and we appreciate it" . In addition, Jordà recalled that the Queen was already interested during her previous visit during the month of June in the work of small entities that fight against social exclusion.
