The head of the Court of Instruction number 42 of Madrid , Juan José Escalonilla , has imputed Juan Manuel del Olmo , secretary of Communication of Podemos and responsible for the campaigns, as well as a close collaborator of Pablo Iglesias, in addition to the treasurer and the manager of the party after the complaint filed by the lawyer José Manuel Calvente fired for possible crimes of embezzlement and unfair administration.
According to Público and Europa Press has been able to confirm, the magistrate has summoned the three on November 20 as investigated after Calvente ratified his complaint before Escalonilla and testified for several hours at the end of last July.
Apart from these subpoenas, the judge has ordered other proceedings in the framework of this case that has just started, such as requiring from Podemos abundant documentation that ranges from accounting to tables of workers' salaries.
