“Against Vorontsov, six more criminal cases have been initiated under Art. 319 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Insulting a representative of the authorities”) - these cases were initiated on the basis of publications in the social network “VKontakte”, and another case under Art. 242 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Illegal production and circulation of pornographic materials or objects"). Today the investigator familiarized us with the relevant decisions, ”TASS quoted one of his lawyers, Sergei Tyulenev, as saying.
Vorontsov was previously detained in Moscow on suspicion of extortion.
As noted by lawyer Sergei Badamshin, Vorontsov was interrogated in the case of extortion of 300 thousand rubles from a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he does not admit his guilt.
Vorontsov was charged.
The Dorogomilovsky court in Moscow extended the term of his arrest until November 6.
