The Health in Danger collective wants "a rapid reopening of negotiations" to lead to a second Health Segur "at the latest at the start of the school year". Gathered on a Facebook group, the collective claims to have the support of several nursing unions.

Disappointed by the results of the Ségur de la santé, the Collective Health in danger wants "a rapid reopening of negotiations" and claimed Tuesday more than 80,000 members, as well as the support of a dozen caregivers unions.

A Facebook group of more than 83,000 people ...

Launched at the end of July by Dr Arnaud Chiche, anesthesiologist in Hénin-Beaumont, in Pas-de-Calais, this initiative quickly gained momentum on Facebook, where the group "Collective health in danger" exceeded 83,000 subscribers Tuesday afternoon. Despite the announcements in favor of the hospital (8.2 billion euros in salary increases, 6 billion for investment, 15,000 recruitments ...) "trades have been excluded" and some "unmet demands" , believes this group, which intends to "obtain a Segur 2 in August", if not "from the start, at the latest".

... supported by several unions

Contacted by AFP, Santé en danger said it had received several union support, including that of Young Doctors, who participated in the negotiations of the "Ségur de la santé" but did not sign the agreement on the remuneration of hospital practitioners . Other minority organizations representing midwives, physiotherapists, nurses, ambulance drivers, and even liberal doctors have also joined in the process, as have a handful of opposition parliamentarians - Communists, rebels and Republicans.

The collective also claims to benefit from the support of the former socialist presidential candidate Benoit Hamon, as well as of Professor Christine Ammirati, former head of emergencies at the University Hospital of Amiens and current advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, Frédérique Vidal .
