ATOR: Egypt has changed the rules of entry for foreign tourists

ATOR reports this with reference to the Department of the Situation and Crisis Center (DSKTs) of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

At the same time, it is noted that "this measure will not affect tourists who travel to the resorts of Egypt by direct flights."

"The test is not required for tourists who enter the country through international airports in the cities of Sharm El Sheikh, Taba, Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Marsa Matruh," the Foreign Ministry's DSKTs said.

ATOR recalled that "there is currently no direct flight between Russia and Egypt."

“In the Aeroflot's schedule, flights to Cairo are only from October 25 (from 11,100 rubles one way). The timing of the resumption of charter flights to Egypt is still unknown, ”the association said.

Earlier, ATOR reported that the Egyptian authorities had decided to ban the movement of foreign tourists around the country.
