China News Agency, Beijing, August 11th. According to Chinese military media, more than 190 officers and soldiers of the Chinese Army who participated in the "International Military Competition-2020" related projects arrived in Moscow on the 10th. More than 260 Chinese troops participated in the international military competition. All the officers and soldiers arrived in Russia, and related equipment and materials will be delivered to the competition venues.

  At 12 o'clock local time, more than 190 officers and soldiers of the Chinese Army participated in the five competitions including the "Tank Biathlon" and "Open Water" competitions. They boarded two military transport aircraft and flew from Urumqi Diwopu International Airport to Moscow. Prior to this, some of the army's participating equipment had been sent out of the country by rail from the Manzhouli port, and the officers and soldiers of the Air Force participating in the "airborne platoon" project had arrived in Moscow by military transport aircraft.

  In response to the impact of the epidemic this year and the task arrangements for international military competitions, the transportation and delivery methods of the Chinese military's participating troops and equipment have been adjusted accordingly.

  The first is to coordinate, optimize and adjust the transportation capacity. The project team, command team, and translators are all transported by military transport aircraft point-to-point accurately, reducing contact with outsiders during transportation and reducing the risk of infection;

  The second is to pull the troops close to actual combat. The participating troops maneuver to the designated airport and assemble according to the combat readiness requirements. They dispatch multiple transport planes for scattered loading, air coordination, and large-time flying. They do not stay overnight abroad. The single-day flight time is 21 hours and the range is 16,678 kilometers.

  The third is to strengthen communication and coordination with the Russian side, make overall plans and take into account the Russian side’s organizational guarantees for the organization of the game, the requirements for epidemic prevention and control, and the fact that the Chinese military teams are deployed in multiple locations, and are stationed in the field. Timely optimize transportation routes and flight time, and accurately dock personnel. Matters such as the list of materials, the time of entry and exit, and the security of the landing airport, ensure that all links of transportation and delivery are safe, controllable and orderly.

  The participating teams of the Chinese military will conduct isolation observation and nucleic acid testing at designated locations in accordance with the unified requirements of the Russian side. The Russian side will be responsible for transferring to the competition venues, handing over weapons and equipment, and launching adaptability training. The competition will officially kick off on August 23. (Finish)
