The prefect of Paris Didier Lallement announced the lifting from Monday 8:00 p.m. of differentiated traffic in Ile-de-France and, from midnight, of all the restrictions relating to the episode of ozone pollution, according to a communicated.

"Taking into account the improvement of the air in Ile-de-France", the prefect of police "decided to lift all the emergency measures to reduce polluting emissions from Tuesday 00:00", according to a press release from the police headquarters.

Traffic had been differentiated since Thursday in Ile-de-France to deal with the pollution episode favored by the high heat.

In a territory delimited by the A86, only vehicles with a Crit'Air class 0, 1 and 2 sticker were authorized to travel between 5:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The maximum speeds were also reduced, passing to 110km / h, 90km / h and 70 km / h depending on the track.
