"You saw my son .. Where are you, Mama? My son is sweet and salty, his eyes are honey, and I had a spoiled mongrel. No one healed." A few words were said by the mother of one of the victims of the Beirut port while she was searching for her son.
The mother of Hamad Al-Attar, who used to work in the port of the Lebanese capital, and who was missing and his body was found under the rubble, last Wednesday, visited his hometown, "Shaath" (north of the Bekaa Governorate).
As the sand of every mother whose heart is burned and she does not ask, "Where is my son or daughter?"

Two poets were inspired by the words of the grieving mother, and they turned them into two sad songs that cried out to everyone who heard them, and achieved widespread and interaction on the communication sites.
The first "Bou Ayoun Asali" is written by Ali al-Akhras, composed by Fadl Suleiman, and sung by Marawan and Husam al-Shami.
As for the second song, "Ibn Helw", written and sung by Faris Iskandar.
Ali Al-Akhras had published a song with the voice of Rami Salika right after the Beirut bombing, entitled "By God, we are Beirut," and it became widespread.
