Earlier, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev congratulated the incumbent Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko on his victory in the presidential elections in Belarus. 

On August 10, it was reported that the CEC of Belarus announced the preliminary results of the presidential elections in the republic, according to which Lukashenko is gaining 80.23% of the vote.

At the same time, 574,312 people, or 9.90%, voted for the opponent of the current president of the country, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.
