Temperatures will drop this Monday in most of Spain , although in 15 provinces yellow warnings (risk) have been activated for high maximum temperatures, while eight will be on warning, also at a yellow level, due to storms, according to the Agency's prediction State of Meteorology (Aemet).

Daytime temperatures will drop in much of the country, except in the northeast of the peninsula, the Balearic Islands and the coasts of western Galicia and eastern Andalusia , where they will change little or tend to rise. Little changes are also expected in the Canary Islands .

In any case, temperatures will remain higher than the usual values ​​for the time in the northeast and southeast coast of the peninsula and in the Balearic Islands.

In fact, 14 provinces will have warnings for heat: Córdoba, Jaén, Huesca, Zaragoza, Baleares, Ávila, Valladolid, Albacete, Girona, Lleida, Murcia, Navarra, La Rioja and Valencia .

During the day, in the north of Galicia and the Cantabrian area, the skies will be cloudy, and there will be a probability of weak rains on the western coast. In the rest of the Peninsula, a predominance of little cloud is expected, with intervals of medium and high clouds.

Throughout the day, daytime cloudiness will form in much of the northern and central-eastern interior of the peninsula, with probable showers and storms that could be locally strong in the eastern Cantabrian, upper Ebro, Iberian system and Pyrenees.

Thus, in Huesca, Zaragoza, Burgos, Soria , Lleida, Navarra, Álava and La Rioja yellow warnings have been activated due to storms.

According to Aemet, an occasional shower or storm is not ruled out in other parts of the east of both plateaus and the Central system. As for the Canary Islands, cloudy skies are expected in the north, while cloudy intervals will occur in the area of ​​the Strait and Melilla and in the rest it will be slightly cloudy or clear.

Finally, trade winds are expected in the Canary Islands; north wind in Galicia; Eastern component on the Levante, Almería and Balearic coastlines ; Generally weak wind in the rest, tending to a southern component in the interior of the peninsula in central hours, when it will blow with some intensity; and gusts of strong or very strong wind in storm areas.
