This was reported to RIA Novosti on Monday by press secretary of the diplomatic mission Alexei Maskalev.
"So far, we have not received notifications (about the detention of the Russians. - RT )," he said.
Maskalev added that Russian diplomats are clarifying this information.
Earlier, Belarusian human rights activists reported that 80 people were detained in Belarus on August 8-9.
In a number of cities in Belarus, after the completion of polling stations, protests began. To disperse the demonstrators, law enforcement officers used water cannons, stun grenades and other special equipment.
