The truck that the man was driving was stolen and he had replaced the registration plate before he started the insane journey.

A few weeks before the car chase, the man was released from a prison sentence for, among other things, aggravated drunk driving and two cases of illegal driving. The man does not have a driving license and appears with 18 sections in the criminal record.

Meant that he became paranoid

On July 28, the man was sentenced to six months in prison for gross negligence in traffic, four cases of illegal driving, three cases of drunk driving, three cases of minor drug offenses, violations of the Knife Act, two cases of violations of the Traffic Ordinance, illegal use and counterfeiting.

The man has admitted parts of the accusations against him and says that he took too much amphetamine and therefore became psychotic and paranoid. Although he "heard sirens all the time", he did not realize that they were "real police", he explains.
