Columbus is the last team to qualify for the NHL play-offs, having eliminated Toronto in the preliminary round, 3 wins to 2, on Sunday.

The Blue Jackets of Frenchman Alexander Texier, who won (3-0) in the decisive fifth game, will face Tampa Bay in the 1st round, seeded N.2 in the East.

Two other matches also concluded the group stage to determine the order of the first four seeds in each conference.

In the East, Washington will be the N.3, after its victory against Boston (2-1). Another disappointment for the Bruins, who had the best record of the regular season and move from a potential No.1 seed, if the championship had ended normally, to No.4.

"No matter what number you are, you have to beat all the teams if you want to advance. You feel good, this phase is behind, you can play real hockey," said Finnish Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask. "I think we are progressing in our game, we worked hard but we were not rewarded with goals, it will come."

In the West, Dallas will also be the N.3, thanks to its success on penalties (2-1), after snatching extra time thanks to a goal from Joe Pavelski 31 seconds from the end.
