Extending the deadline for holders of expiring entry visas by an additional month
The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship announced the extension of the period of time for holders of entry permits to the expiring country, starting from 11/8/2020, for a period of one month, with the aim of enabling them to leave with exemption from all fines during this period.
The deadline granted by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship to holders of entry permits was scheduled to expire tomorrow, including visitor or tourist visas to the UAE, whose validity period expired after the first of March 2020.
It is worth noting that, on July 11, the UAE government canceled the previous decision that considered entry permits, tourist and visit visas for those in the country, valid until the end of December of this year, when their expiration date happened after the first of March 2020 for those unable to travel due to the Covid-19 virus Air traffic suspension.
These decisions coincided with the gradual return to normal life in various fields and sectors, and the resumption of the services of the customer happiness centers in the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, and visa services.
