Lukashenko announced receiving a letter from Putin about the detained Russians

According to Lukashenka, he received a letter “on five pages”.

“Now our Investigative Committee is considering these facts. As for the prospects, if someone expects that our relations with Russia have absolutely deteriorated, they are mistaken! " - quoted by the Belarusian president TASS.

Earlier, a telephone conversation between Putin and Lukashenko took place. During the conversation, the parties discussed the situation with the detention of 33 Russians in Belarus. 

At the end of July, it became known about the detention of 33 Russians in Belarus. They are suspected of preparing riots.

The Investigative Committee of Russia began checking in connection with the situation.

As noted by the Russian Ambassador to Minsk Dmitry Mezentsev, there are facts that indicate that the detention of citizens was a provocation organized from a third country.
