Andreas Kinderland from Nybro was in Karlskrona with his wife on Saturday and together with some friends they went out with the archipelago boat M / F Wittus.

- We had been out on a trip and on the way home it was just a matter of time. The captain came down and said we had run aground, says Andreas Kindeland.

Calm evacuation

Both sea rescue, rescue service, ambulance and police were alerted to the accident and the passengers had to be evacuated to another archipelago boat that took them ashore at Yttre park.

- They informed us about what happened and what would happen so no one had time to worry. Everything went smoothly and it only took about half an hour before the other boat came and picked us up, he says.

No persons should have been injured in connection with the incident. A report of negligence in maritime traffic has been drawn up.
