Alerted around 2 a.m., the firefighters extracted a 62-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman from a burning pavilion, said an official from the SDIS (departmental fire and rescue service) of Allier.

About 25 firefighters from Gannat, but also from neighboring municipalities of Vichy, Ebreuil and Espinasse-Vozelle responded to the fire, the origin of which remains undetermined. According to the daily La Montagne , the inhabitants of a neighboring house which was not affected by the flames have been relocated.
