What has been described as a grenade was found by the public about six to seven meters into the water at a bathing place north of Äspenäset near Karlsborg.
- As I have understood it, it is shallow there. It has been possible to wade out and discovered it then, says Jenny Widén, press spokesperson at the police in the West region.
Police have cordoned off the area while waiting for experts who can investigate the find and determine if it is a sharply charged grenade, dummy or something completely different.
