It was just after 22:30 when the police were alerted to a riot at an address in Eskilstuna municipality.
After the patrol on the spot got a picture of the course of events in the home, it was decided to arrest a man in his 55s on suspicion of rape and assault of his female partner.
However, the woman was not in need of an ambulance, the police state on their website.
At 07:30 on Saturday morning, the suspect was still arrested, not arrested.
