BelTA informs about it with reference to the Ministry of Health of the country.
It is noted that as of August 8, 64,744 patients who had previously been confirmed coronavirus infection COVID-19 were recovered and discharged in Belarus.
A total of 1,363,011 tests were carried out.
It is also reported that "over the entire period of the spread of the infection in the country, 585 patients with a number of chronic diseases with identified coronavirus infection have died."
Earlier, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, when visiting military unit 3214 of the Interior Ministry troops, said that he had asymptomatic COVID-19.
