08 August 2020 Marisa, an employee of the Municipality of Capizzone, in the province of Bergamo, one of the areas most affected by the Coronavirus, had retired in mid-March, but no one could replace her because the competition had been blocked due to the lockdown. So she, moved by a sense of duty, in charge of the demographic services office (the one where births and deaths are recorded, among other things), continued to go to work - for free - until last July 17.
"When I saw that the Municipality was in trouble - Marisa told the Eco di Bergamo - especially at the registry office that was my office, I didn't hesitate to stay". Now, after thirty years of working for the municipal administration, a new chapter of his life begins. "I don't think I will have time to get bored", he assured.
Meanwhile, for what she has done in all these years, Marisa has received a plaque of thanks from the mayor Alessandro Pellegrini.
