Prevention against Covid-19 is strengthening in Île-de-France. Wearing a mask will be compulsory "in certain areas with a high concentration of people" in the Parisian agglomeration from Monday August 10, announced Saturday August 8 the Paris police headquarters. The measure concerns certain sectors of Paris and neighboring departments (Seine-Saint-Denis, Hauts-de-Seine, Val-d'Oise and Val-de-Marne).

"All the indicators show that the virus is circulating again more actively in the region", according to the press release which does not detail the areas concerned. Wearing a mask will be compulsory for those over 11 from Monday at 8:00 a.m.
