In the message of the headquarters, published on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Health of Abkhazia, it is said that "over the past day, testing for coronavirus infection was carried out in 149 citizens, the diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed in 14 of them."
"The first infected with COVID-19 among vacationers was registered, which was taken out for treatment in Russia," the message says.
The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia reached 134. Of these, 38 people recovered and three patients with COVID-19 died.
Earlier, the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that an additional building for receiving patients with coronavirus infection, if necessary, is being deployed in Sochi.
