Dubai hosts the "First World Police Summit" in March 2022

The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al-Marri, has approved the organization of the activities of the "First World Police Summit" in Dubai during the month of March 2022, which will be attended by a group of police leaders around the world, including the international police "Interpol", the European police "Europol" and the International Association of Leaders Police and police leaderships at the Ministry of Interior level in the country.

Al-Marri confirmed that the summit, the first of its kind at this level in the region, discusses major axes related to the future of police work in light of modern and rapid technological developments in artificial intelligence systems, as well as the various policing disciplines, pointing out that the summit supports the strategic plans of Dubai Police in foreseeing the future in policing work, In order to enhance security and safety, and work to make community members happy, in line with "Dubai Plan" and "UAE Centennial 2071", and the Ministry of Interior strategy.

For his part, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Entrepreneurship Affairs, Major General Dr. Abdul Quddous Abdul Razzaq Al-Obeid, explained that the summit will discuss five main and important axes in police work, the first of which is the "traffic axis", which will discuss future prospects and developments in traffic policing, thus contributing to achieving zero in the rate of Deaths per hundred thousand of the population, in addition to discussing the use of global best practices, artificial intelligence techniques, and smart patrols in enhancing traffic safety.

The second axis is represented by the "criminal axis", and it will discuss international best practices in crime control, crime prediction techniques, foreseeing the future of criminal policing and the various specializations in the field of forensic evidence and criminology, aiming to provide material evidence in cases and provide evidence to justice.

The third axis will deal with future foresight in “police operations”, whether in field or administrative, in order to facilitate the optimal utilization of human cadres and to achieve speedy response to emergency incidents and reports, in addition to achieving excellence and leadership in applying best practices in police operations.

And the fourth axis will deal with "combating narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances" and reviewing the best global efforts and practices in combating this transnational organized crime, and employing all modern technologies to protect society from the clutches of narcotic toxins.

The fifth axis will discuss the "future police" and the mechanisms of preparing to deal with the coming changes in the fields of policing, in a way that contributes to enhancing security and safety for people, working to make them happy and providing them with all services easily and easily.

In the same context, Major General Al-Obaidly emphasized that Dubai Police conferences in 2022 will be held under the umbrella of the "First International Police Summit", most notably the Emirates International Conference and Exhibition for Forensic Evidence and Criminology, and the "Annual International Protection Forum" organized by the Dubai Police General Command in partnership and cooperation with The United Nations to raise and discuss issues related to drugs and drug addiction, and to find adequate solutions and causes to combat and prevent them.

Three major accompanying events will also be organized in Dubai Police, namely the graduation of candidates for the Dubai Police Academy, the Emirates Global Challenge for Tactical Teams (SWAT), as well as conducting an international brainstorming at the level of police leaders participating in the summit.
