Official statistics issued by the Ministry of Health and Community Protection regarding the daily monitoring of the latest developments related to the "Covid-19" virus in the country showed that the percentage of confirmed infection out of the total examinations has decreased from the beginning of this August until yesterday, to less than half a percent, to 0.494%. While recoveries recorded an increase of 24% over the new cases recorded during the same period.
The rates of people recovering from the virus reached 90.2% of the total infections recorded in the country, after the recovery numbers reached 56,254 cases of recovery, compared to 62,300 infections that were recorded over a period of 166 days, since the first infection with the virus was detected in the country (on January 29 last) ).
The number of patients who are still receiving treatment has also witnessed a decrease since the beginning of this month by about 9%, as their number decreased from 6,246 patients to 5,699 patients.
Injuries witnessed a significant decrease compared to the number of injuries in the same period last month, as 1,794 cases were recorded, compared to 4,378 cases in July, a decrease of 59%, while the infection rate decreased in the same period from 1.2% in July to 0.49% during current month.
