Putin to discuss with the Security Council the situation in the post-Soviet space

The president’s statement was broadcast by the Russia 24 TV channel.

“Let's talk about the situation in the world as a whole, with an emphasis on the state of affairs in the post-Soviet space, bearing in mind that these are our closest neighbors, our allies, as a rule,” the president said.

Putin noted that the situation in the post-Soviet space is one of Russia's foreign policy priorities.

Also, the Russian president invited the Security Council to discuss additional measures to help Lebanon in connection with the explosion in Beirut.
