In the past week, several Fredriksberg residents have contacted the municipal councilor Leif Pettersson about increased chaos and social problems in Fredriksberg. He now sees a need to coordinate the municipality's various administrations in order to work more effectively with the problems that are felt in the area.
- I have already taken the initiative to introduce local ordinances to facilitate the work of the police, says Leif Pettersson.
He sees the old rental houses with cheap rents for in many cases substandard apartments as a reason for the problems and he has discussed this issue with other municipal councilors with Minister of Civil Affairs Lena Micko in the spring.
