Regarding the new economic partnership agreement between Japan and Britain following the UK's departure from the EU, Foreign Minister Mogi said at the press conference after the ministerial talks held in London and agreed that the major points were agreed. It was revealed that they agreed to aim for a general agreement by the end of this month.

In order to conclude a new economic partnership agreement between Japan and the United Kingdom, Foreign Minister Mogi had a close talk with the Minister of International Trade in Truss in London from 7:00 pm on the 7th of Japan time.

After the talks, Minister Mogi said at a press conference, "By today, a substantial agreement has been reached in most of the areas in Chapter 24, and I and Truth International Trade Ministers have reached a consensus on the main issues." Said.
