It is noted that the Federation of Tourism Chambers of Egypt sent out a warning to travel companies and hotels about the prohibition of excursions and other travel by land, sea or air outside the tourist provinces.

Egyptian Minister of Antiquities and Tourism Khaled al-Anani said that "all tourists who visited Egypt did not report any infections or suspected coronavirus after returning home."

He stated that there were no new cases of coronavirus infection COVID-19 at the resorts that receive foreign tourists.

Al-Anani added that his ministry is currently examining all the variables in order to establish a timeline for the resumption of tourism activities in full force.

Egypt has resumed inbound tourism since July 1. International flights are allowed to the resorts of South Sinai (Sharm el-Sheikh, Dahab and others), the western coast of the Red Sea (Hurghada, Marsa Alam) and Marsa Matruh on the Mediterranean Sea.

Earlier it was reported that hotels in Turkey would not close in case of detection of guests infected with coronavirus infection COVID-19.
