“My wife filed for divorce. I found myself at 60 in divorce proceedings, it lasted five years. My ex-wife wanted everything, the house, the cars, the money. The judge decided to grant the main residence to my wife. I had to leave, I was no longer allowed to set foot in my house. I ended up accepting, because five years is a long time. Nothing can be done during a procedure of divorce.

" Today I am the happiest of men "

I had quit my job before the divorce. After the non-conciliation, I found a job as a consulting engineer. I no longer had a house, no more car. I found myself with nothing at 65. It could have lasted ten years and I wanted freedom. I worked for five years as a consulting engineer. I recovered my health. I met a Spanish woman. I decided to buy a villa in central Spain. But it turned out that it didn't go well, she was a funny woman.

I found myself all alone like an idiot, 1,500 kilometers from Paris. At that time, I was in low spirits. When we find ourselves in a foreign country, we do not know the customs and the language. Today I am the happiest of men. There has been change. I met a Spanish woman. We get on very well. She lives 500 meters from my house. She is a wonderful and very sincere woman.

I left because of a woman, then I found myself on my own. It's a story that ends well, even if it is only just beginning. I will never leave this region. Valencia is a wonderful city. There is the oceanographic museum, an extraordinary zoo, wonderful architecture. It feels like a futuristic world. I live 30 kilometers from Valencia. I am well in the mountains. That's wonderful.

I have a lovely villa with a swimming pool. I have redone everything in my house, I'm still tinkering. I get up at 6 a.m. and go to bed at 2 a.m. It is happiness every day. I'm like a fish in water now. I feel privileged. In life, you must not give up, you must always fight. Life is hard, but life is good. Worth living. "
