WHO: Six new coronavirus vaccines have entered phase III clinical trials, three of which are from China
On August 6, local time, the WHO held a routine press conference for new coronary pneumonia. Michael Ryan, the head of WHO's health emergency project, said that there are currently about 165 vaccines in the trial stage worldwide, and 26 are in clinical trials. Species are in Phase III clinical trials, three of which are from China. It is incredible to achieve such results in a short period of time. The next step is to ensure that the vaccine is safe and effective. Phase III clinical trials will start large-scale testing. WHO hopes that more vaccine candidates will enter the phase III clinical trials.
