The Paris Bourse retreated at the opening Thursday in the wake of Asian markets, investors remaining cautious about talks in the US Congress on a stimulus plan, as well as a potential hardening of the conflict between Beijing and Washington over TikTok .
At 9:00 a.m., the CAC 40 index fell 13.93 points to 4,919.41 points. On Wednesday, the index rose 0.40% to 4,933.34 points, its third session in a row, bringing the increase since Monday to 2.8%.
