China News Service, August 6, According to Thailand’s “Bangkok Post” report, in the early morning of the 6th local time, a 5-meter-high supporting arch was being constructed for the newly built Pink Line commuter railway in Nonthaburi, Thailand. It collapsed and injured five workers.

  According to reports, the collapse occurred at about 1:30 am local time on the 6th. The collapsed material blocked the road and was cleaned up at 6:30 am and reopened to traffic.

  Five workers were injured in the accident. Most of the injured were minor injuries, and one person is still receiving treatment.

  The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand attributed the cause of the accident to rain softened the foundation.
