The police were on site at the accident on Wednesday and carried out a technical investigation, and the case is now being led by prosecutors. The Accident Investigation Board Norway is also involved in the case. In parallel with this, the Swedish Work Environment Authority is now also beginning its investigation of the accident.

Complex situation

- It is a complex situation, we need to look at what the inspections say and workload and what they have used for technology, says Madeleine Wahter, section manager at the Swedish Work Environment Authority.

The Swedish Work Environment Authority has inspectors in five regions around the country and has the task of checking that employers and others responsible for the work environment live up to the requirements set out in the Work Environment Act.
