At 23:00 on Wednesday evening, a traffic accident occurred just north of Vilhelmina on road E45. A motorhome and a car collided with a moose.
- In connection with a motorhome and car meeting, a moose runs up on the road that apparently both cars collide with, says Micael Degerman, rescue chief on standby.
A total of eight people were involved in the accident and some were slightly injured. A person traveling in the car was later loaded with an ambulance helicopter.
- One was seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital, says Degerman.
The road was closed during the rescue operation, which ended at 01.30 at night.
