At the same time, he noted that “Russians would never start shooting in Crimea”.

According to Lukashenko, during the events in Crimea in 2014, the Ukrainian military "did not even climb out of the bases."

Earlier, Lukashenka stated that he considers it impossible for Russia to return Crimea to Ukraine.

Crimea became a Russian region after the 2014 referendum, in which most of the peninsula's residents were in favor of reunification with Russia.
