Al Owais stressed that Emirati customs and traditions are greatly appreciated and respected by different groups of society, as they constitute a source of strength that enhances the solidity of the social fabric, stressing at the same time that the exceptional conditions imposed by the spread of the pandemic make it imperative for everyone to exercise caution and care to protect our families and our society.

Al Owais pointed out that there are many positive indicators that were recorded and monitored during the last period, such as high recovery rates and low infection rates, in addition to not recording deaths for consecutive days, stressing that these positive indicators do not mean that the challenge has ended, as the experiences of other countries indicate Negligence in the application of preventive measures, even if only in a small percentage, has major consequences.

Al Owais stressed that the support and cooperation of community members through the adoption of preventive and conservative measures would accelerate the pace of recovery and return to normal life.

During the private briefing, Dr. Omar Al Hammadi, the official spokesman for the media briefing of the Emirates government announced the numbers and developments of cases, as the number of new daily examinations reached 50,729, which revealed the registration of 239 new injuries, all of which receive the necessary care in health care institutions, bringing the total number of recorded cases to 61,845 status.

Al-Hammadi announced the registration of 354 new cases of recovery, bringing the total number of cases of recovery in the state to 55,739 cases, and one case of death was recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 354 cases, pointing out that the number of patients receiving treatment reached 5,752 patients.

Al-Hammadi noted that some relaxation was observed in some of the prevention procedures, non-compliance with safety rules and physical spacing in gatherings and during social visits, stressing that the commitment of community members contributes to removing the burden from the health sector, and provides sufficient time for researchers and scientists to complete the necessary steps to produce An effective and safe vaccine.
