A 14-year-old teenager drowned Tuesday while out with friends by a pond. The drama occurred on the Brières du bourg lake, located in the town of Saint-Lyphard in Loire-Atlantique and in the Brière regional natural park.
The teenager was out with a group of friends, at the edge of this pond where a sandy beach has been set up and where swimming is normally supervised in the afternoon in summer. "After aerial reconnaissance by the drones team and marking on the water by the dog of the dog team, the divers from the CND (Departmental Nautical Center) recovered the inert body of the victim", specifies the press release. - Loire-Atlantique firefighters.
