Sunshine covers Gothenburg when Dusica Perovic comes walking. She has spent the day with a group of autistic young people for whom she is a support teacher. It's a job she's had for almost five years.

The same amount of time has passed since her life changed forever.

- When you think of a person who has lost a child, you think that you should meet a person who is negative, that it is visible on the outside. I mourn and I respect my grief, but I do it alone.

"I'm been angry"

District Attorney Stina Lundqvist tells SVT that the explosion that claimed Luna's life is connected to conflicts between criminal gangs in Gothenburg. According to the prosecutor, one of the people in the car was a "dominant" profile in gang criminal circles.

Dusica Perovic sees a society that has become more insecure. Where boundaries have been blurred for what criminals can imagine doing, where children can end up in between.

- I've been mad at my husband. It was his friends he grew up with, he knew who they were. But it's a complex issue - if you're in a gang, it's hard to get out of there. It requires society to help the person.

Thinking of the girl's mother

Dusica Perovic describes Luna as happy, determined and fair - who helped if someone was treated unfairly on the playground. To start living again without the daughter has taken several years, she says.

- You move on, but you are changed forever.

Patience and strength is something she wants for the mother who now misses her daughter.

- There are days when you do not have the strength to get out of bed. But you find some meaning and stick to it. The last two years have been a little easier. But having my own family and children is something that will not happen in my life. It is because of the traumatic experience I went through, I do not dare to experience it again.

The investigation into the case has not been closed - but the police have difficulty moving forward, according to prosecutor Stina Lundqvist. Several suspects have died and one of them is in a country that does not have extradition agreements.
