The Normandy Regional Health Agency (ARS) has ordered the closure of a leisure center located in Grand-Couronne (Seine-Maritime), near Rouen. The local dedicated to youth closed its doors on Tuesday. In question: contamination with the coronavirus.

One of the children enrolled in the 6-9 year old group tested positive for Covid-19. He was present in the recreation center from July 27 to 29, and took part in a group excursion on July 30, reports 76actu .

Upcoming screening for contact cases

According to the mayor of the town, Julie Lesage, this “small structure” welcomed 26 children that week and less than ten animators. Parents of all affected children have been provided for. They were advised to place their child in fourteen.

The Normandy ARS has launched a "  contact tracing  " program, which aims to trace the chain of potential contact cases. Children and animators who could have been infected will be screened soon. According to 76actu , the reopening of the structure will depend on the results of the tests.
