“The World Bank has approved a grant financing of $ 132 million for the fourth phase of the Program for Improving Road Communications in Central Asia,” RIA Novosti quoted Nigina Aliyeva, Press Secretary of the World Bank Office in Dushanbe, as saying.

She noted that the funds will be spent on improving the stability and safety of road infrastructure in the Sughd region in the north of the country and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region in the south-east of the republic.
